The three-and-a-half-ton bronze sculpture The Charging Bull, also known as the Wall Street Bull, was created by artist Arturo Di Modica and is displayed with pride in New York City's financial district. The bull represents the spirit of New York, where anyone can arrive, work hard, and succeed, and it stands for "the power of the American people". The decision to use a charging bull is not random. The bull is a representation of a robust stock market where investors are upbeat and self-assured. According to the theory, investors who are in a euphoric mood tend to buy more and more, which raises the market. Don't pass up the opportunity to take pictures with that well-known bull!
